Endemic Corruption Threatens the Last Great Apes of Africa and Asia

In a recent story on Mongabay.org I take a look at the legal and policy dysfunctions that allow foreign corporations and homegrown political flunkies to demolish the last refuges of the world's gorillas, chimps, orangutans and gibbons. There's still time to act on their behalf, mainly by holding corrupt and authoritarian governments accountable for their greed and casual disregard for the law.
